Our Vision

An educated and just society that brings hope and empowers children.

Our Mission

Motivated by our faith in Jesus Christ, we seek to fight poverty, empower families and communities through education, bring freedom from oppression by seeking justice through advocacy and provide physical, emotional and spiritual support to vulnerable children.

Our Core Values

KCM’s core values are the fundamental beliefs that guide how we operate

Love

We strive to demonstrate love to everyone by giving them our time, respect and concern. “Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. Anyone who loves is a child of God and knows God.” – 1 John 4:7

Justice

We are committed to positive social change and work with urgency in seeking justice and fairness as we fight alongside those that are afflicted. “Blessed are they who maintain justice, who constantly do what is right.” – Psalm 106:3

Hope

We have been promised hope in Jesus Christ, and we want to let everyone that we meet with, work with, and partner with, to experience that hope as well. “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” – Jeremiah 29:11

Empowerment

We believe that by sharing with others the resources and skills we have acquired over the years; the community can prosper. Therefore, we are eager to teach and share what we know with others to inspire lifelong learning, advance knowledge, and strengthen our communities. “Make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge”– 2 Peter 1:5

Teamwork

We are a team of strong and diverse individuals unified by a clear common purpose to put an end to child abuse, “from him the whole body joined and held together by every supporting ligament grows and builds itself up in love as each part does its work” – Ephesians 4:16

Stewardship

We believe in being good stewards of what the Lord has given us by safeguarding resources, exercising frugality, and being accountable to ourselves and our partners. “Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms”– 1 Peter 4:10
